About Us

Welcome to the East Tennessee Interior Design Society, a chapter of one of the nation’s largest independent design organizations dedicated to serving the residential interior design industry.

Why hire an IDS Designer? Because we are specialists in residential interior design.  Our members are highly qualified design professionals who have dedicated their professional careers to helping people create an inviting home that reflects their client’s tastes and lifestyles.  IDS designers are devoted to making interiors spaces work for the families who live there with proper space planning, selection of colors and finishes, lighting accessories and every detail that completes a well-designed home.  Let an IDS Designer open your door to a more beautiful home!  Whether your door opens into a downtown loft, a quaint home in suburban west Knoxville, or a stately home on Fort Loudon Lake, members of the East Tennessee Interior Design Society hold the keys to making your space work beautifully for you!

In addition to our design members, our membership includes Partners in Design and Trade Affiliates–local, regional and national vendors–who help our designers stay on top of the latest trends and styles.   IDS offers continuing education, invaluable resources, informational programs, business support and services to its members.  For more information on our organization please visit The Interior Design Society‘s page.
